Faxed Prescriptions & Non-Insured Services Payments
As you are aware, the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) covers most medical services and tests. However, certain medical procedures (mostly for cosmetic purposes) and most administrative services are not covered by OHIP, and are the responsibility of the patient or agency acting on their behalf.
The Ontario Medical Association (OMA) provides a recommended fee schedule for these uninsured services. The Caroline Medical Group follows these recommendations when setting our prices. Every effort will be made to advise patients, in advance, when a service they have requested will not be covered by OHIP. Payment for these services is due at the time of delivery, and may be paid in person at the Business Office, or online through our website. We accept PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, and Debit.
The Caroline Medical Group is offering the option to pre-pay an Annual Prescription Faxing Program Plan fee. This fee is available for individual, couple or family rates. (Please allow two business days for processing of online payments).
If you do not wish to be a part of our Prescription Faxing Program, we ask that you book an appointment 2 weeks before your medication runs out.
